About Us
Swissvale Baptist Church is an Independent Fundamental Baptist church located in Swissvale, Pennsylvania just 7.2 miles from Point State Park in Downtown Pittsburgh and just outside of the Squirrel Hill Tunnels.
Our purpose is to glorify God by conducting a Baptist church in accordance with the Word of God, the Articles of Faith, the Covenant and the Constitution of this local church, promoting the worship of our God, edifying believers, teaching the whole counsel of God, administering the ordinances and Biblical discipline, seeking to win the lost to Christ through personal witnessing and the preaching of the gospel, carrying on a vigorous missionary program around the world, establishing other Baptist churches, defending the faith, and maintaining a good testimony for Christ in our community by godliness and good works.

Our services include Sunday School, regular Sunday Morning Service, Wednesday Night Bible Study and Prayer Meeting and Youth Group for grades 6-12.
Worship Services
All are welcome and encouraged to join us in the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as he is honored and glorified in his rightful place. Our worship services are a traditional style where hymns and biblically based choruses are sung with piano and organ accompaniment. Additionally, our church preaches and teaches from the King James Version Bible.
On the first sunday of each month, during the evening service, we observe and commemorate the Lord's Table together as instructed and directed by the Holy Scriptures.
